LIBERTINE
FALL 2018
We’ve probably said this before, but here we go again…Libertine is hands down is one of our favorite collections to feature every season during New York Fashion Week. Brilliant designer Johnson Hartig is consistently dead on with his LA based hi-end fashion label, catering to fun girls and boys with a bit of extra cash in their wallets. Each season is never a disappointment, the perfect mix of uptown and downtown. We just loved the Asian influences in the rhinestoned sparkly pagoda pattern. There was also a to-die-for painterly floral print featured in a pantsuit and coat, as well as some bold, colorful striped men’s knitwear sets. The vibrant yellow perfume bottle print looks demanded attention. But, if we had to pick a favorite, it would definitely be the opener – the women’s coat adorned with safety pins, worn with quirky skull necklaces. Yes, Libertine is the show that we just never want to end – just let those young models walk over and over again on runway repeat. Photography Alexander Thompson. https://ilovelibertine.com/
