HOMETOWN? I grew up in Charlotte, but have lived in Asheville, NC for the last 7 years.
ARE YOU IN SCHOOL? I graduated from Warren Wilson College last year with a major in Sculpture/Ceramics.
HOW DID YOU GET INTO MODELING? I had done some local gigs, but after a while decided I wanted to pursue it further. I applied online to a few agencies and shortly after got signed.
FIRST MODELING JOB? This shoot for Ponyboy!
FAVORITE PART OF BEING A MODEL? I love fashion and design so getting to be part of the process to bring designer’s ideas to life. I also love getting to travel.
WORSE PART OF BEING A MODEL? The uncertainty of working as a model is tough; I always get stoked to work, so I just wish for more frequent casting.
HAVE YOU WALKED RUNWAY OR DO YOU ASPIRE TO WALK RUNWAY? I have not walked runway yet, but I really want to. I really enjoy shooting editorial of commercial jobs, but the theatre of runway shows is super exciting to me.
FAVORITE PHOTOGRAPHER? I love street photography. Bruce Gilden’s Cherry Blossom is such an incredible book.
FAVORITE MODEL? 1. My friends who also model. 2. Leon Dame just for having such awesome crazy walks.
FAVORITE DESIGNER/LABEL? I really honestly can’t pick one favorite: Acne Studios, Diesel, Hedi era St. Laurent, Dries van Noten.
DREAM CAMPAIGN? Louis Vuitton has had some super creative campaigns over the last few years, would love to work with them.
DESCRIBE YOUR STYLE/LOOK? I’m back and forth between a crunchier vibe and a mildly ’70s rocker look, but with boxier proportions.
FAVORITE MUSICIAN/BAND? I listen to everything, but lately it’s been Bladee, Joy Division, Brian Jonestown Massacre.
INTERESTS BESIDES MODELING? I love making art, I draw a lot, lately a lot with oil pastels. But I also am in love with making pottery. Biking and hiking make me happy. And I love reading.
GF? BF? I have an amazing girlfriend named Zoe. We enjoy making pottery together.
WHAT’S NEXT FOR YOU? Kava and a blueberry muffin.
