ARE YOU IN SCHOOL? No.
HOW DID YOU GET INTO MODELING? I met a model through a dating app. We started chatting and I mentioned that I wanted to get into modeling and she invited me to work on a shoot with her. It was pretty cool for a first-time shoot and the photos came out really nice. We didn’t end up dating though. I actually think she married a pro surfer so it seems it worked out well for both of us in the end.
FAVORITE PART OF BEING A MODEL? I really enjoy working in a career that allows for personal exploration and freedom. I feel like modeling provides that for me while also being gratifying even when it can be spontaneous. It feels all the more gratifying when I’m on set. It’s like a different energy that is only for that space.
WORSE PART OF BEING A MODEL? Oh, easily the cost of living in big cities.
HAVE YOU WALKED RUNWAY OR DO YOU ASPIRE TO WALK RUNWAY? I have walked runway! Looking back it was really exciting. And, I have always aspired to walk the runway since. It was an early goal that only really got fulfilled after the pandemic. Runway has always been a particular challenge for me though. I find in the moment it’s too difficult to cope with the high sensory input that comes from the lights.
FAVORITE PHOTOGRAPHER? Fave for me is Matthew Preistley. I felt like we had good synergy and we share a background in video game history.
FAVORITE MODEL? Me. I’m my favorite.
DREAM CAMPAIGN? I’d want to book a week-long job somewhere really exotic like Borneo. It’d be a dream come true to see an actual orangutan in the wild. Borneo is filled with a bunch of exotic little creatures too. I feel like I’d have to go with an empty camera roll just to accommodate the amount of weird bug videos I’d have to take. I think being on a good location would be the most fulfilling experience for me personally.

INTERESTS BESIDES MODELING? Right now I’m looking for volunteer opportunities. I started by volunteering at a local plant pharmacy in the Bronx but I want to find more physical hands-on work that really gives back to the ecosystem.
ARE YOU SINGLE? Nope. I have a girlfriend. Her name is Bianca and we’ve been together for nearly two years. The two of us are taking care of a cat and two kittens.
WHAT’S NEXT FOR YOU? I’m going to challenge myself to follow through on the volunteer work. I want to be a part of that space and community and see what can be learned as well as spend my free time this summer outside. I want to explore my community as well as find new opportunities that speak to what I value.
