AGE? 20.
HOMETOWN? Montclair, New Jersey.
ARE YOU IN SCHOOL? Yeah, I go to NYU for Math and Computer Science.
HOW DID YOU GET INTO MODELING? I knew a couple of models just from living in the city, and I was encouraged to send digitals to some agencies.
FIRST MODELING JOB? I was part of a lookbook that hasn’t been published yet, and it was a closed set, so I honestly don’t think I can share any info about it.
FAVORITE PART OF BEING A MODEL? If I get to travel for modeling in the future, that would probably be it. But in the meantime, it’s getting styled in pretty out-there looks.
WORSE PART OF BEING A MODEL? I would say the unpredictable schedule is inherent to modeling.
HAVE YOU WALKED RUNWAY OR DO YOU ASPIRE TO WALK RUNWAY? I haven’t, but I’m answering these questions just a couple of weeks out from New York Fashion Week, which I’m really excited to be a part of.
FAVORITE PHOTOGRAPHER? I can’t say that I have one, I’m still deep in the process of learning what I like in the fashion world.
FAVORITE MODEL? I think it changes every week, but hopefully it becomes me at some point.
FAVORITE DESIGNER/LABEL? Alexander McQueen. But a big part of that is because I find him to have been an extremely interesting person.
DREAM CAMPAIGN? Probably YSL.
DESCRIBE YOUR STYLE/LOOK? Honestly, functional/generic. I care about looking good, but I’m not seeking novelty in my everyday look.
FAVORITE MUSICIAN/BAND? My taste is constantly changing and growing, but a band I’ve been going back to since middle school is Talking Heads.
FAVORITE SONG OF THE MOMENT? “Blind” – Swans/Michael Gira.
INTERESTS BESIDES MODELING? I have an experimental noise music radio show. If that sounds interesting at all, you should check out the instagram: cavemanmusicwnyu
SINGLE? Yes.
WHAT’S NEXT FOR YOU? Continuing to explore modeling and balance it with my academic interests. I’d like to pursue a doctorate in applied math.
