HOMETOWN? I grew up mostly in a small town in the Midwest – Anderson, Indiana.
ARE YOU IN SCHOOL? Not anymore!
HOW DID YOU GET INTO MODELING? I was discovered by my now dear friend Toni Maticevski while I was living in Melbourne, Australia. After working with him, I started exploring modeling as a serious option for myself.
FIRST MODELING JOB? A solo shoot with Toni for his project The Way I See You.
FAVORITE PART OF BEING A MODEL? The privilege to collaborate with creatives on projects that excite and inspire me.
WORSE PART OF BEING A MODEL? My mind doesn’t go there. So few people get to do this, that’s not lost on me. I take none of it for granted.
HAVE YOU WALKED RUNWAY OR DO YOU ASPIRE TO WALK RUNWAY? I have – I walked London Fashion Week for Mains last year, which was an amazing experience. I’ve also walked in Chicago for Parker Normal and in Melbourne for Chilali.
FAVORITE PHOTOGRAPHER? Tim Walker.
FAVORITE MODEL? Grace Jones.
DREAM CAMPAIGN? I get really excited about what and who’s next. There are several names to watch who I would absolutely love to take part in major campaigns one day. Two that come to mind are London’s Olli Hull and Vilnius’s ES. TAR.
DESCRIBE YOUR STYLE/LOOK? I’ve pulled bits of inspiration from the street styles of places that I’ve loved. It’s like a Scandi-Brit-Naarmcore soup.
FAVORITE MUSICIAN/BAND? Björk.
FAVORITE SONG OF THE MOMENT? “6 Underground” by Sneaker Pimps.
INTERESTS BESIDES MODELING? I’m a big home cook, love to go dancing, and read a lot of mystery novels – but my greatest passion has always been travel. I’ve been lucky to live internationally and travel extensively in my twenties – across New Zealand, Australia, Scandanavia and the UK.
SINGLE? Depends on who’s asking.
WHAT’S NEXT FOR YOU? I’m new to New York and am really energized and excited to meet new people, collaborate with new creatives, and take on new opportunities. I’m looking forward to building what’s next, so watch this space!
