ARE YOU IN SCHOOL? No.
HOW DID YOU GET INTO MODELING? I had an aunt who worked in the industry with a lot of success, and when I moved to New York a year and a half ago, I asked her if it was worth pursuing as a side gig. She told me I had the look for it. From there, she put me in contact with some people, and I was quickly signed. Now I just do it for fun!
FIRST MODELING JOB? In university, I modeled for a student-run magazine.
FAVORITE PART OF BEING A MODEL? Looking at myself and my friends making fun of me.
WORSE PART OF BEING A MODEL? Can’t binge eat. I like to fill my piggy gut. Gotta keep my abs now :(
HAVE YOU WALKED RUNWAY OR DO YOU ASPIRE TO WALK RUNWAY? No… and maybe. I think I would laugh if I had to be serious like that, so I don’t think I’d be very good at it. I also have a more commercial look and feel like runway people are very alien-like. I would give it a shot, though!
FAVORITE PHOTOGRAPHER? Oh goodness, I have no idea.
FAVORITE MODEL? Oliver Kaasgaard, Anok Yai. That’s really all I know, tbh lol.
FAVORITE DESIGNER/LABEL? I’ve had the same sweatpants since high school, so I’m not really sure how to answer this question. I’m not really a material-possession type of person. I don’t want to buy nice things and then accidentally spill spaghetti sauce on them or something.
DREAM CAMPAIGN? I’d like to feel like Jude Law one day, so maybe Ralph Lauren or something along those lines. My dreams will come to me.
DESCRIBE YOUR STYLE/LOOK? At work, I’m professional in attire. Outside of work, I’m almost always wearing wide-legged, flowy pants and a T-shirt—relaxed and simple, with a nice pair of boots. I’d never wear shorts. Cuts, proportions…
FAVORITE MUSICIAN/BAND? Difficult question. I refrain from answering. Sink sonic/Goose would be up there at the moment, but I don’t know where they rank all-time for me.
FAVORITE SONG OF THE MOMENT? “Cerca De Ti” by Hermanos Gutiérrez.
INTERESTS BESIDES MODELING? I’m a full-time designer for an experiential agency called Jack Morton Worldwide. I’ve helped build and design some of the largest broadcast sets on television, including Amazon Prime NBA, SportsCenter, ESPN, CNN, etc. Basically, everything you see on broadcast television, I’ve touched. It’s one of my passions, and I plan to continue doing it full-time outside of modeling. I also paint when I have free time, and I’m a health guru just for fun. Outside of all that, I apply for TV shows when I can. One day, I’ll be on air myself.
