TIMO WEILAND

Autumn/Winter 2014

At the Timo Weiland A/W 2014 Collection runway show at Milk Studios in New York City, we saw metallics and a variety of geometrics walk down the runway. The focus seemed to be on femininity with an abundance of skirts and dresses, versus trousers. The hint of the updated schoolgirl look included pleated mini skirts and metallic leather t-shirts. Some of our favorite pieces included a black and white striped pencil skirt, as well as a chic stripe t-shirt dress. The looks were paired with John Fluevog bulky black shoes to keep with the youthful, somewhat rebellious feel, and also a couple of metallic loafers. The show was closed with an abstract black and white polka dot finale, which was a truly great ending. All around this is a spirited, fun collection for any young girl. That youthfulness was perfectly captured in the clean and simplistic styling of the hair and makeup, as seen in these backstage images. Photography Alexander Thompson. https://timoweiland.com/
