CARLOS CAMPOS

S/S 2016

Talented Honduras born menswear designer Carlos Campos presented his collection for Spring/Summer 2016 at Industria Studios on the opening day of the much-hyped launch of Men’s Fashion Week New York. Staples for this season included topcoats, belted blazers, graphic tees, and the designer even threw in a sleeveless tuxedo jacket. The primarily green and navy collection felt both modern and luxurious, yet with a sprinkle of downtown edge. We asked the designer what his inspiration was this season. “For this spring season, I was inspired by the idea of the traveling nomad who wanders the depths of the forest. With the lush forest backdrop in mind, the collection layers sleek pieces in deep hunter greens and burnt auburn reds.” Photography Alexander Thompson.
