THE OUTSIDER

DIEGO VILLARREAL

For our latest men’s editorial, we cast Fusion model Diego Villarreal in actor Matt Dillon’s role, playing the character “Dallas” in Francis Ford Coppola’s screen adaption of S.E. Hinton’s novel, The Outsiders. Diego has a strong resemblance to Matt, with heavy brows, high cheeks, full lips and lots of attitude. Fashion editor Xina Giatas pulled simple and classic clothing to suit the character, including vintage jersey’s, leather jackets and the classic Levi jean. The JMZ Myrtle subway stop in Brooklyn with it’s elevated classic platform served as the perfect location for the shoot. Take a look! Photography Alexander Thompson.
