S/S 2017

Inspired by Stanley Kubrick’s film “Full Metal Jacket”, menswear designer Kenneth Ning featured full on military with a twist of deconstruction. The first look we spotted when shooting backstage was a model wearing an elaborate shredded hat with netting, which definitely made a statement. That was just the beginning, as we saw all kinds of interesting vests, cargo pants and camouflage jacquard suits. Many of the shirts were deconstructed in styling and cut, asymmetrical and unbalanced. Our favorite looks included the pleated sleeve detail on the black “Full Metal” hooded sweatshirt, which was also incorporated on the tan trench worn by model Noa Thomas.
